I love Wen hair care system!!! I have shoulder length, semi-coarse, hair. Less products, less fuss, more results. You can just wash and go. Air dry or blow dry.
If you want to style your hair further they give you a couple simple products to do so. The styling cream is so easy to use, just apply to damp hair, brush/comb through (avoid applying the styling cream e to the scalp area), style and off you go. It leaves no sign of residue and tons of movement.
The texture balm is a little trickier. It works best on sort to medium length hair. Rub it together on your palms/fingertips to warm it up and lightly apply it with fingertips to chunks of hair at the ends. Best if applied to nearly dry or dry hair. Just a tiny amount is needed.
I started using the Wen hair care system when I had really long hair. It left it easy to manage and it stayed less oily longer. I only had to wash it every other day (sometimes I could get away with three days). Now that it shorter I have more styling options and this system makes it easier to do so as I’ve never done anything else to my hair except to wash and go. I’ve been able to have fun with new styles and am able to hold them in place until my next “shampoo”.
I also have found that if I work the product through well and apply most of it near my scalp, I don’t need to use nearly as much as the label suggests. So, in the long run this product saves me time and money. I don’t need to wash every day and I don’t need to buy a million different products. I bought the system over six months ago and I am almost ready to buy a new cleanser (since you only need tiny amounts of the other products I am nowhere near out).
It’s worth a try. The majority of complaints about this product are in regards to customer service, not the product itself. So I would suggest buying it from another site (i.e. QVC or Amazon).
