Hello, my name is Barbara. I was lying in bed one evening and saw the Wen informercial with Chaz Dean. I have spent a lot of money in the past trying to get my hair back to a healthy state. I ordered the 90-day supply because I figured it would take at least 3 months to see any results. I also received the 30-day supply of vitamins free. I’ve only used the products once as of now and I can truly say that I already see an improvement in my hair. I’m African American woman and had very beautiful, long, thick hair in my youth. I’m 50 years old now & know that age plays a part in the condition of your hair, but I just knew there had to be a product out there that would at least make it look better if nothing else. I’m so happy I ordered the products. I think I’m finally on my way to getting back a healthy head of hair.

Wen Hair Products Review: this stuff is GREAT

I love this product. I have been recommending this to everyone I know. I have thin, fine hair that is constantly drying out and also having an oily looking scalp. This product makes my hair silky and shiny. I can go twice as long without getting a touch-up color or a trim. My hair stylist says my hair looks and feels much healthier. When I braid little girls hair in my neighborhood I put a few pumps in their hair and it makes it SO much healthier, shinier and easier to braid. The braids look perfect, even if they previously had highly chlorinated hair! I have been using it for over 6 months and I am going to KEEP using it!

Wen Shampoo Review

I ordered WEN fig with comb and DVD. I loved the packaging and the heavenly fig fragrance. I liked the tingly sensation it gave my scalp and had really good results the first couple of times of using. After that, my hair started to look dull and my head itched. It just didn’t seem to be getting my hair squeaky clean and I was following all the instructions. I know these products have gotten rave reviews, but, for me, WEN is not worth the money and time. I ordered it because I’m a “natural” kind of girl, but there are good shampoos out there that don’t contain harsh ingredients that do a better job for me at a way lower price.

Wen Hair Products Review: I Love It!

I love Wen hair care system!!! I have shoulder length, semi-coarse, hair. Less products, less fuss, more results. You can just wash and go. Air dry or blow dry.
If you want to style your hair further they give you a couple simple products to do so. The styling cream is so easy to use, just apply to damp hair, brush/comb through (avoid applying the styling cream e to the scalp area), style and off you go. It leaves no sign of residue and tons of movement.
The texture balm is a little trickier. It works best on sort to medium length hair. Rub it together on your palms/fingertips to warm it up and lightly apply it with fingertips to chunks of hair at the ends. Best if applied to nearly dry or dry hair. Just a tiny amount is needed.
I started using the Wen hair care system when I had really long hair. It left it easy to manage and it stayed less oily longer. I only had to wash it every other day (sometimes I could get away with three days). Now that it shorter I have more styling options and this system makes it easier to do so as I’ve never done anything else to my hair except to wash and go. I’ve been able to have fun with new styles and am able to hold them in place until my next “shampoo”.
I also have found that if I work the product through well and apply most of it near my scalp, I don’t need to use nearly as much as the label suggests. So, in the long run this product saves me time and money. I don’t need to wash every day and I don’t need to buy a million different products. I bought the system over six months ago and I am almost ready to buy a new cleanser (since you only need tiny amounts of the other products I am nowhere near out).
It’s worth a try. The majority of complaints about this product are in regards to customer service, not the product itself. So I would suggest buying it from another site (i.e. QVC or Amazon).

Absolutely recommend these products (although pricey.) I have naturally curly/sometimes frizzy hair and the leave-in conditioner is perfect for me. After decades of trying to find the right hair products, I have finally found the best for my hair type.

Wen Hair Products Review: I love it!

I have really tight curls. I’ve never met anyone with hair quite like mine. Growing up I felt different so I tried everything I could think of to make my hair straight like everyone else’s. I also decided to start playing with the color.
The result was a disaster! I tried to chemically straighten my hair twice, became addicted to heating tools that I used daily as well as harsh gells and other styling products, I dyed my hair all sorts of colors…and my hair pretty much died…
I’m not going to say that wen healed my hair, because nothing could. I stopped my insanity and just wore my hair curly for over two years, but I hated it. I hated my hair so much. It felt course and frizzy, and I got stuck in this loop of not wanting to shampoo my hair because it was dry, but needing to because I had styling products from the day before in it.

I decided to try wen. It was strange at first because I was used to putting really heavy styling products in my hair, so my hair felt kind of naked, but when it dried it was soft and didn’t look bad.
I’ve been using wen for almost a year now and I love it. My hair looks alive, and is healthy. It’s springy, soft, and shiny. I actually get compliments on my hair now which is something I thought I’d never see happen.

I like how wen isn’t harsh like shampoo so my hair feels softer after a shower, not frizzier.
I love that my hair is shinier and my natural colors stands out now.
I love the sweet almond mint smell.
I love not having tons of frizz control products weighing down my hair.
I love how soft my hair is. Even on a bad hair day, I can still rub my fingers through my hair and enjoy the texture of my hair.
Most of all, I love the fact that I actually love my hair for probably the first time in my life.

The only thing I don’t love is how expensive it is :/

I have used this product for almost a year. It has saved my hair. My husband says he doesnt care what this stuff costs as long as it make my hair feel like this! I went back to my 25 reunion and all my classmates commented on my hair and how youthful it looked! I have had the same beautician for almost 30 years and SHE is telling people about the product. If you like pretty, healthy hair, you must try this. I just want this to go main stream so I can buy it in stores!!! I have long (past middle of my back) wavy (not too curly) hair. I was super excited to start using this product and have been a little underwhelmed. You have to apply ALOT of this product (since my hair is long, your quantity may be less) and finding something to do for the required 5+ minutes you need to leave it on. After my first use my hair felt great, soft, not too weighed down, but I wouldnt recommend using this product every day (if your hair is damaged, it would be probably be great) but since there are no “detergents” your hair can become quite greasy if used too much. So I found a balance, I use it once a week and then when I wash my hair the other days I use regular shampoo and conditioner.

I’ve been using Wen Cleansing Conditioner in Sweet Almond Mint for over a year. Wen leaves my hair smooth and shiny and my scalp clean and healthy. At the salon, the assistants always comment on how silky my hair is when they clean it – I won’t even let THEM use shampoo. My hair is medium length and straight. A flat iron is totally unnecessary when using this product – my hair is totally smooth without using a flat iron.

Wen Hair Products are the answer to my prayers.. the last time I saw my hair dresser she said my hair seemed to be getting dryer each visitâ€¦ You know how some products take several weeks even months to show results?.. Wen Hair Care Review: Cannot Imagine Living Without It

I have been using Wen for almost a year now; I cannot imagine living without it. Before I started using Wen, I had thinning hair due to a thyroid condition which has been corrected, but left my thick curly hair limp and unable to keep a style. After using Wen, my hair has grown down my back like it was when I was in high school and it is full and bouncy. The first photograph is after two weeks of starting the product, and the second picture is me now; I sill cannot believe I can enjoy my hair again; I owe it all to the Wen hair products; I do not use anything else but Wen and never will! Wen Hair Care Review: Metamorphosis & Totally Worth the Money!

I have been coloring, highlighting, bleaching, blow-drying, and hot-ironing my hair for 20+ years. I have NEVER used a shampoo/cleanser that did what this product did. After one wash, my hair felt softer, detangled, cleaner (Which was a total shock!!!), and bouncier! It even held the style longer without any hair spray or gel. Also, I have wavy/straight/curly hair that can not seem to make up its mind, it looks more consistant after it’s styled. My scalp also wasn’t dry and I did not notice as much breakage or shedding in the shower….my drain (for once) did not need to be unclogged after I showered!!! (my husband was happy with that) I am quite impressed with my new hair. I feel like my hair actually went through a complete metamorphosis and turned me into a butterfly! Totally worth the money.

I’m an eighteen-year-old with long, very thick, slightly more coarse, curly, and color-treated hair. I’m absolutely obsessed with makeup, perfume, and hair products, so I’ve done quite a bit of experimenting. I didn’t learn to manage my wild mane until I was 13 or so, but now I’ve learned enough so that just by switching up my routine a bit each morning, I can go from loose spirals in my hair to cute beach waves.

That being said, I’ve had a great experience with the wen cleansing conditioner. After using it for the first time, I didn’t notice a huge difference and was a bit disappointed. However, after using the product for a week or two, wen definitely started living up to its claims. I noticed that my hair is much softer and easier to tame. Now I’m in love. It’s very important to rinse your hair thoroughly with cold water before applying the wen. I’ll separate a small portion (1/8th) of my hair from the rest, get about two pumps of the wen which I then rubetween my palms to get that thicker consistency, and massage it into that portion of my scalp. I do the same for the rest of my head and make sure to get my hair line. Then I throw on a splash or two of water and massage my scalp for at least three minutes. I’ll pullmy hair up, put on a shower cap, and let it do it’s thing for a while, then rinse with cold water while massaging my scalp the whole time.

Personally, I think the conditioning mask is alright at best but the styling cream is to die for. For years one of the only products I could find that could tame my wild curls was the mousse by herbal essences. But wen’s product keeps my curls intact but leaves them looking totally natural and soft as if there’s no product in my hair at all. I use a touch of the wen as a leave-in plus a dab of moroccan oil to detangle, help hydrate, etc. and I’ve found that still running just a tad of the mousse through the ends gives me better hold to last through a long day, but the mousse alone cannot even begin to compete with the wen.

If your hair as gotten especially oily (I.e. maybe you were down with the flu for a few days and washing your hair was out of the question) a gentle cleansing shampoo will take care of it. If your hair is just oily, this might be something you want to do once a week of every other week. After experimenting a little I’ve found that wen, joico’s intense reconstructor (left on overnight once a week or so), and moroccan oil and/or the liquid keratin smoothing serum together work beautifully.

Maybe some of what I’ve learned an help out those of you who are just trying wen. It’s not going to give miraculous results after one use, but give it some time and I’m sure you’ll end up loving it as much as I do.

I first ordered Wen on QVC and fell in love with it. It actually does what it says it will do. I am almost 60 years old and my hair is in the best condition since I was a teenager. My hair hangs below my shoulders and is medium thick. I am completely gray and get color and highlights every 6-8 weeks. I only have to shampoo my hair twice a week with Wen. I use the Volumizing spray and it really adds volume to my hair and leaves it very manageable. I live in the desert so I also use the leave-in moisture retreatment spray. As far as I can say, I will be a Wen girl the rest of my life. I LOVE it!

my hair is really course and curly, and ever since i can remember it’s been snarly and unmanagable! after trying almost every shampoo, conditioner and and product on the market, my mom ordered me Wen for Christmas, and I’m in love! My hair is no longer frizzy and is always soft and shiny. I love the moisture mask that i do ontop of my cleansing treatment every two weeks. It’s especially good for the summer time after time in the sun and in the pool. the styling gel is also great for scruching and controlling frizz on those extra humid days

Wen Hair Products Review: I’m a Believer!

At first I was skeptical about using it. I thought it was only for white women hair. I decided to order and try it. I must say it have made a believer out of me. I have thick coarse hair, and I hate washing it because it take to long and I have a hard time combing it to distribute the conditioner through evenly. Since I started using Wen, I can comb my hair with ease, I notice the softness of it and it is easy to manage. I have been going natural for over a year and tried to find the right product to use on my hair to restore the moistener in it, nothing worked. People think I still have a relaxer. I tell them I run a warm comb through it. I have not had any problems with the Wen product, as a matter of fact, I have introduced it to my very dear sister who have baby soft fine hair and she loves it.
