Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara

Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara is a very decent mascara. I like lots of volume and eye drama, and while I did not get it with Define-A-Lash, I did get good definition and lengthening. Overall I was impressed and felt it would be a very good everyday mascara and also great under a more thickening mascara because of the lash definition and lengthening.

This is a great candidate for someone who just wants a good mascara without any drama.

Define-A-Lash is Maybelline's second most popular mascara, after Great Lash. For the record, I think it is way better than Great Lash.

It is available in four formulations - Washable Volume Mascara, Washable Lengthening Mascara, Waterproof Volume Mascara and Waterproof Lengthening Mascara. All formulas are available in Very Black, Soft Black and Brownish-Black. It has a flexible brush, which takes a little getting used to, but they promise "zero clumps", which I found to be true. Although I usually use waterproof mascara, I tried the washable (non-waterproof) one out. I was very impressed that there was no smudging. I did feel some of it had worn off by the end of the day, which usually doesn't happen with waterproof.
